That Dreaded Sunday
Ohnoit'sSunday.
The thing I hate most about Sundays is the fact that you can't sleep in that day. Because you have school the next day. And yet it's the weekend so you can't chill.
I don't know about you but to me, it's infuriating.
Another sucky thing about the weekend: I wait all throughout the week for that glorified Saturday and Sunday, with plans just like, "Oh man, on Saturday I'm gonna bike and go out for a movie and get a dog and teach myself how to drive a helicopter..." but then the weekend actually does show its face, my mind goes blank and I'm just like "What am I gonna do with the next 18 hours of my life."
And then I just sit around watching repeats of the same episodes on Netflix over and over again while eating ice cream. I mean, the logical part of me is screaming "get your butt off the couch and do something you lazy bum!" And of course, being the smart person I am, I shut down that part of my head.
You know, I think that's exactly why teachers give homework over the weekend. They must have realized that kids are sitting around doing nothing all day, and the brilliant plan they come up with? "Oh, I know! I'm sure four worksheets on pronouns should keep them busy!"
I just don't know where our teachers get their logic from.
What do you do on weekends, Reader? Do you also just sulk around and do nothing, like me? Or are you someone who actually listens to your logical self? Leave a comment below, and I'll reply with an answer!
Don't forget to subscribe and follow me on Google+! (You see, I would tell you to follow me on Snapchat or Instagram...if I had either of them *sniff*)
Have a great rest of the night - make the most of the rest of your remaining Sunday!
